Coinciding with the resurgence of online gambling, Illinois Lottery is expanding some of its instant draw games to enable online sales.
The State Lottery, operated by Camelot Illinois, announced on Monday the launch of online sales of five different Fast Play instant draw games. The games launched in 2020 and will continue to be available for purchase in retail stores.
“By modernizing the way we deliver our products, we are providing comfort to gamers while strengthening our ability to continue to generate essential funding for education and good causes throughout Illinois,” said Harold Mays, director of the Illinois Lottery.
States like Minnesota and Georgia also offer online lottery games. Online lottery sales are legal in other states, but several of them have yet to implement online gaming.

Illinois Fast Play games include Piggy Bank Bucks, Hot Dice, Blackjack, Illinois Jackpot, and Quickspot. The games have generated $ 48 million in revenue since their launch in Illinois in September 2020.
Players can play Fast Play games online by downloading the Illinois Lottery app or visiting illinoislottery.com. Online gambling has increased following a 2018 U.S. Supreme Court ruling allowing sports betting outside of Nevada.
